For admission to BTech at NIT Silchar, candidates are required to apply via JEE Main. The process of application for JEE Main 2024 consists of the following steps to fill the JEE Main application form:
Step 1: Open the official website (jeemain.nta.nic.in) and click on the ‘Registration for JEE (Main) 2024 link.
Step 2: Fill the registration form with the required information followed by clicking on the submit button.
Step 3: Fill the detailed application form and upload scanned images and documents.
Step 4: Pay the application fees.
Step 5: The application will be submitted itself.

The University has released the placement statistics for the BTech batch 2019-23. So far, the the highest package and average package offered to BTech courses during placements 2023 stood at INR 44.14 LPA and INR 7.01 LPA, respectively. A total of 336 BTech students participated, among which 494 total offers were distributed during JUIT placements 2023. The top recruiters who participated in JUIT Solan placements were Cognizant, Infosys, Amazon, Fantaclaus, etc.

Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad BTech ranking 2023 has also improved, from 47 out of 300 colleges in 2022 to 49 out of 200 colleges in 2023.
