An autonomous college is usually a better choice for B.Tech because it has an updated syllabus, flexible exams, and often better placement opportunities. JNTU-affiliated colleges follow a fixed university syllabus and stricter evaluation system. If the autonomous college has good placements, it is generally the better option.
