For a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering course, Inderprastha Engineering College gave a median salary of INR 4 LPA.The lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges from 5 LPA - 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, HCL, Amazon, and Paytm. Around 80% of students got internships at this college.

The average package given to BTech students in the 2023 placements at the Shri GS Institute of Technology & Science (SGSITS) in Indore was 10 LPA. In other words, half of the students who landed jobs got paid at least 10 LPA, while the other half was paid less.Since it is unaffected by extremely high or low incomes, the median package is a better approach to comprehend the average package. In 2022–2023 around 60-80% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 17 LPA, and the lowest was INR 3 LPA. The average salary package is around 6 LPA which is pretty good. The oppurtunities are provided but it's onto to the students to grab. Capgemini, HCL, TCS, Infosys, and many other companies visit for recruitment. Around 50% of students get internships.

Students become eligible for placements from the third year of the college. The college's placement staff is aware of the placements and helps the students to prepare the resume. The median package for BTech students is around Rs. 5,00,000 and companies Iike Cipa, lupin, nestle, etc. came to college to give placements. Last year a student from engineering got placed in Tesla with 4 crore package.

The overall seats are available for the BTech programme at Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology is around 1230. Currently, in Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology there are around 5000+ students pursuing various Undergraduate programs (BE/BTech) in 1st year. However, for the BTech programme the college offers a limited numbers of seats. To acquire the seats candidates must take admission at the Hindustan College's official website and later register for counselling at TNEA's official website.
