For 2022, the cut off was 7307 for General category candidates in All India quota for BTech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in NIT Trichy - National Institute of Technology. For female candidates in the General category under All India quota 8324 was the closing rank. The BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

The tution fees (might include components other than tuition fees) is Rs 1.56 Lacs per year. The course provides 4 years of academic programme divided into semesters (eight semester) fee is Rs78000.

3 continent Programs: The Fee structure includes the complete tution fee for the course. It doesn’t include Airfare,Visa, Insurance, Boarding, Lodging and other miscellaneous expenses that can be incured by students when they travel abroad as a part of course.

The opening and closing ranks depends on the category and quota of candidates. For the General category under All India, opening rank was 759 and closing rank was 1205. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 1260 and 1852. Admission to BTech in Computer Science and Engineering in NIT Trichy - National Institute of Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

Yes, for lateral entry the minimum criteria in Diploma is 60% and you have cleared that After completion of Diploma course, you can get admission in second year of B.Tech course. To get admission in B.Tech second year, you need to appear for the Lateral Entry Entrance Test (LEET). Based upon your entrance examination rank, through counseling process, you will be allotted a seat in a particular college.

For last year, the closing rank for BTech in Civil Engineering was 23230 which is very close to this range. This was for the General category under the All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission. Since the cut-offs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission to NIT Trichy - National Institute of Technology.

Since you have not mentioned your category so considering it as general and with General category and such percentile it is quite difficult to get any good college like NITs/IIITs or any government college and that too with CSE branch

But you can try for private colleges discussed below on the basis of your class 12th score or you can appear for their own entrance tests :

NIT Rourkela BTech +M.Tech in Mining Engineering cut off trend has been increasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for BTech under General category for all India quota was 35458. In 2022, it increased to 53000. The cut off ranks have changed from 54879 to 68996 for OBC, 7721 to 6365 for SC, and 6415 to 193470 for ST. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

"NIT Rourkela - National Institute of Technology will release 6-8 rounds of JEE Main cutoffs for admission to BTech +M.Techin Metallurgical and Materials Engineering. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:

  •  The JEE Main score of the candidate
  •  The category of the candidate
  •  The number of seats available in the course
