- The JEE Advanced 2026 application form is expected to be released in April 2026, and the examination will be conducted on May 17, 2026.
- The JEE Main 2026 registration for session 2 has closed for IIT Palakkad admission to BTech, BArch and BPlan courses. The session 2 exams will be conducted from Apr 2 to Apr 9, 2026.

IIT Palakkad Highlights 2026
IIT Palakkad was founded as a public/government college in 2015 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, GoI and is currently being mentored by IIT Madras as one of the third generation IITs in India. The institute used to operate from its temporary campus at the Ahalia Integrated Campus in Kozhippara, Palakkad but has since shifted to its main campus on the foothills of the Sahyadri mountain range in 2023.
