Yes,  Doon University extends its support to students belonging to SC/ST categories via reservation of seats. As per official sources, the university reserves a total of 23% of the seats for SC/ST candidates.  The breakdown of this percentage is as follows:

  • 4% of seats have been reserved for the Scheduled Tribes (ST) category
  • 19% of seats are reserved for the Scheduled Castes (SC) category

Yes, Doon University does provide placement support to students pursuing the BTech programme. As per the official website, the university has established a Career Counselling Training and Placement Cell (CCTP). This cell is responsible for looking after the training of students for on-campus placements. Moreover, this cell also liaisons between the students and companies and helps students throughout the placement process. Doon University's seat reservation policy states that a total of 50% of the total seats in a programme shall be filled on an Indian basis. The eligibility criteria are the most important factor in the OJEE PGAT admission process. Candidates appearing for the M.Tech/M.Arch/M. Plan must meet the eligibility condition to participate in the admission process, which are as follows -

  • Candidates must have passed a bachelor's degree or equivalent in the relevant field from a recognised university or institute.

  • Must have obtained 50% marks or 45% (in case of the reserved category) in the qualifying examination.

For B.Tech courses, candidates must have passed 10+2 with a minimum qualifying mark from a reocgnised board or institution.
