Yes, BSc Students have the option of switching to BTech after completing BSc. They will get admission in the second year of a B Tech degree. Only Diploma holders were allowed BTech Admission through Lateral Entry, but from 2013-14 BSc students also have this provision. According to AICTE, students from BSc Computer Science and BSc IT have the opportunity for direct admission in BTech 2nd Year through Lateral Entry.

Some of the students of Shri Siddhi Vinayak Group of Institutions have regarded placements for B.Tech in Civil Engineering to be “third class”, yet, the overall placements of the institute are comparatively good. The maximum salary package offered is INR 10 Lacs per annum and the average salary package is INR 5.40 Lacs per annum. I need to become a top recruitment agency of an organization such as TCS, HCL, Tech Mahindra, Infosys or Accenture. The highest package goes up to 15lacs and about 75% of the students get placed, with companies like vivo, mahindra, and accenture offering campus placements to the students.

The competition to get admitted to B.Tech Biotechnology at College of Biotechnology, Mathura is moderate. Requirements include:

- 10+2 with 45 percentage marks in any stream (40 percentage for SC/ST).

- JEE Main/UPSEE rank

- Counseling participation

Statistics:

- Intake: 60 seats

- Application-to-seat ratio: 5:1

- Cut-off: JEE Main cutoffs of 60-80 percentile, UPSEE was ranked at between 100-150.

- Admission rate: 20-25%

- Eligible candidates: 80-100 per seat
