Students who wants to pursue B.Tech at Indian Institute of Information Technology Tiruchirappalli must appear for the JEEMainseam and clear the cutoff score. Below are some of the criteria that are necessary for B.Tech at Indian Institute of Information Technology Tiruchirappalli:
- In Class XII, or equivalent Board examinations, at least 75% of the aggregate marks must be obtained.
- The overall marks shall not exceed 65% in respect of SC, ST and PwD candidates.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For General category under All India, opening rank was 23905 and closing rank was 39622. Cut offs are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 32347 and 45484. Admission to the BTech in Biotechnology at NIT Rourkela - National Institute of Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to first confirm the category in which they are applying and then check the cut-offs.

The cutoff trend for BTech at IIT Jammu has been increasing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for BTech under General category for all India quota was 13048. In 2023, it increased to 14589. Likewise, the cut off ranks have increased from 4903 to 4906 for OBC, 2398 to 2660 for SC, 1128 to 1212 for ST, 2085 to 2487 for EWS. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for Engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

Cut offs are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 23241 and 51650. Admission to BTech in Biomedical Engineering at NIT Rourkela - National Institute of Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to first confirm the category in which they are applying and then check the cut-offs.

The cut off rank in Round 6 for BTech in Materials Engineering is 17296 which is very close to this range. This was for General category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one can not afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing from round to round, better ranks definitely increases your chances of getting admission in IIT Jammu.

Cut off are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, closing rank for female candidates was 18,177. Admission to B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering in IIT Kanpur is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE Advanced. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

For 2024, IIT Jammu Round 5 cut off was 6310 for General category candidates in All India quota for BTech. in Computer Science and Engineering in IIT Jammu. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 12,108 was the closing rank. BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.
