Hello Dhanush, you can become a data engineer if you get a job in a company dealing with handling data. As a B.Tech in Computer Science, you can definitely land such a job in company. Hello, You will need to appear for the entrance exam that is conducted by state in which you are domiciled for getting admission in the college where this branch is being offered for admission. However if you are thinking of seeking admission in any of the deemed universities where this branch is being offered then you will have to appear for the entrance exam conducted by the concerned University and similarly for any other University. As an alumni of LPU, i can share the details for LPU as i don't know about other Institute. Being Alumni of LPU, I would like to answer this question. At LPU, Admission in any programme depends on qualifying the Eligibility criteria for that programme.
So, as per the official website of LPU, the Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) is defined as - Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST.

The course you wish to pursue after 12th must be relevant to future and present. It is more important to pursue from branded college. The job market is about demand and supply. There are some evergreen courses like medicine, engineering and law which would be always in demand. Thus there is rush to pursue those courses and the market full of people with these demanding skill. So it be more secure for future try to pursue B.Tech from a branded college. ROI is also a point to consider.

Yes you can be eligible for private Schools/ Colleges but can not be eligible for Government Schools/ Colleges. The eligibility criteria of MAHA TET is given below. Hello Sandeep Jain, it's very nice to hear from you that you are interested in doing your graduation in engineering after completion of your Diploma. Yes you can definitely think of doing engineering via evening class if there is such Institute in your place of working. Distance education mode is not available for engineering. However you can seriously think of doing your graduation in engineering by doing AMIE. This is equivalent to graduation in engineering in all respects. Best wishes to you.
