History of COEP: COEP was established in 1854 as The Poona Engineering Class and Mechanical School within a small space. COEP Technological University is recognized as Asia's 3rd oldest Engineering college. Since its early days, The Poona Engineering Class and Mechanical School evolved into College of Engineering Pune, and is now known as COEP Technological University, Pune.
