Candidates who have passed Class 12 in relevant subjects with a minimum of 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for reserved category) are eligible to apply for BTech at Sobhasaria Group of Institutions. Aspirants who have passed a minimum of three-year Diploma examination with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category), subject to vacancies in the first year in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted can apply for BTech (LE) courses.

A total of 360 seats are available in BTech programme of Sobhasaria Group of Institutions. The institute offers 70% of the total seat intake to candidates from the state of Rajasthan based on their JEE Main rank and Class 12 score. 15% of the total intake is offered to candidates from outside Rajasthan are filled via JEE Main and Class 12 marks. Other 15% are offered under Management Quota and are filled at institute level.

Doon University offers a limited intake capacity BTech course. A total of 40 seats are available for the students to apply. Some seats are reserved for the reserved category candidates. 23% of seats are given for SC/ST students. 14% is given to the OBC, and 10% is for EWS. Rest are for the general category.

Best College for B.Tech in Defence Technology:

Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT), Pune) – Top government institute under DRDO, best for defence-related education.

Other Good Options:

  • IITs/NITs (some offer electives or specializations in defence tech with DRDO support)

  • Selected private universities (like Vel Tech, UPES) have started offering this course in tie-up with DRDO.
