The admission process for B.E./B.Tech in Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering and Technology, Chittoor is such that students must pass 10+2 (Higher Secondary) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks. Admission is mainly through the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET entrance test, and seats are allotted according to rank and counseling. For lateral entry into second year, candidates with 3-year Diploma in engineering or B.Sc. Degree with maths are also eligible, minimum marks being category-dependent. Admissions follow Andhra Pradesh government norms and counseling processes.

Yes, Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology offers lateral entry to the BTech course. Candidates who have completed their Diploma in Engineering/ Technology can apply for lateral entry. Seats up to 10% of the sanctioned intake of each programme of UG courses shall be filled by the Convener, TS ECET as lateral entry admission into second-year of the BTech course.

Yes, IFTM University provides various scholarships to BTech students. The university provides these scholarships in the form of tuition fee waivers. These scholarships include the merit-based scholarships of up to 50% and a 10% scholarship offered to female candidates.
Besides the scholarships offered by the university, BTech students can also apply for the scholarships offered by the state/central government. However, as per the official placement report released in 2022, the highest and the average packages offered across all courses in 2022 were INR 6.50 LPA and INR 1.88 LPA, respectively. Yes,starting with the 2024-25 academic cycle, DU's Faculty of Technology is filling all BTech Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication, and Electrical Engineering seats through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG). Your Class12 marks still matter for eligibility, but the merit list rides on your CUET percentile, not the old cut offs game.
