SRM TRP Engineering College has a good placement record.
The average package offered to students is around 6.5 LPA. The highest package offered in the last placement season was 32 LPA.

The University has not released the 2023 placement statistics yet. However, the NIRF report 2023 is released. As per the report, 1,130 UG students were placed during Dr MGR University placements 2022. The median package offered to UG (4-year) students was INR 9 LPA.

The eligibility criteria to get admission to BTech through CUET in Uttar Pradesh are as follows:
- Students must have completed their Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 50% marks.
- Students must secure 45-50% marks in Class 12 or an equivalent examination to be eligible for the CUET exam.
