Hi, it's not necessary but you must meet the requirements on way or the other. Since German universities require 13 years education, you must either clear the IIT JEE or complete the 1st year of a UG degree in India.

Hi Srishty, to study in US you must take the SAT and the TOEFL. Different universities would be having different admission requirements. Competitive ones would require SAT subject tests as well. Complete your 10+2 with excellent grades. You must also have a good overall profile which should also include a lot of extra curricular activities.

You can try for some engineering courses. Visit a few University websites and understand the application requirements. Not all universities will consider Diploma equivalent to grade 12. The process will be a little different for you so I recommend that you go to a career counselor for help.
