Veterinary science / medicine is a branch which deals diagnosis, treatments and injury in animals and birds.Veterinary science covering all animal species both domestic and wild.The professional / Physician who is practicing veterinary care is known as "Veterinary Surgeon".
Bachelors in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc. &AH) is the bachelor degree/ professional course available at Bachelors Level. HSc with PCB can apply for BVSc. The Duration of the courses is 5 years including Internship.
Veterinary Graduates have opportunity in both government and private sectors. In government, they can work with Animal Husbandry department as Veterinary Surgeon. Also have opportunities in Private Poultry Farms, Cattle Farms, Diary Farms, Sheep / Goat farms ,Piggery Farms, Horse Ride Clubs, Diary Research Institutes etc.
BSc-Aggriculture is a professional Graduate course in Aggricluture .The Duration of the course is 4 Years.The syllabus include

Lot of government as well as private job opportunities are there for BSc- Agriculture graduates. State Agricultural Department Recruits BSc-Agriculture graduates for the post of Aggriculture Officer every year. It is a gazatted rank having better salary. Besides all Cooperative -Rural Developments banks are appointing Aggriculture officers with high salary upto 60,000/ and more Month
IN Private sector, graduates may get placed as Manager- Plantations, and Tea Estates,Officer in Fertilizer Manufacturing units,Food Processiong Units etc.
They may get monthly salary of 30,000-45,000
Geology is more better option than Geography. Specializations like Oceanography, Remote Sensing etc.available at masters level.
