No, for BCA, you must have one subject as maths or computer science. If you have neither of the two then you are not eligible for BCA.

Eligibility for BCA in UU:-
10+2 examination with Mathematics. Minimum 45% marks(40% in case of SC/ST category).

Yes, you can! A diploma is equivalent to +2, so you can apply for BCA in colleges which take lateral entries.

The eligibility to apply for BCA in the University of North Bengal is pass 10+2 in any stream with mathematics. It is a 3-year course and the fee is around 10800. Admission procedure depends on your written test and interview.

If you have completed your BCA with 60%, you can sit for national level exams like NIMCET, VIT MCA and other entrance exams. Prepare for these exams and if you get a good rank, you will get a good college.
