Dear,
So far my knowledge goes for doing MCA, BCA is not the only path. You can do MCA after doing B.Sc.in maths/ physics/ computer science. For admission in MCA in your targetted university, you have to check their eligibility criteria.

Hi,
Different countries and different programmes cum universities have different admission requirements. Take the IELTS or TOEFL for English language requirements. You must also submit a statement of purpose and recommend ation letters to be written by your teachers. very importantly your academic grades must be in accordance with the university requirements.

You are from commerce background so take admission for BCA because you can't take admission for BCS or BE computer as you are from commerce background not from science so take admission for BCA after completing your BCA, take admission in MCA.

Job prospects are available in various areas like programming, networking, system administration etc. There are many companies which specialize in these areas like WIPRO, TCS etc. But the scope is not limited to the IT companies. Most organizations whether big or small nowadays will have requirements in the IT sections. These include Banking sector, Telecommunication sector, Dairy Sector etc. The opportunities available after completion of Masters course(MCA) is higher.
