The career options after completing the course are numerous. Students can look for jobs as per their specialisation in the degree. Some jobs are Data Analyst, Software Developer, etc. Students can go for higher education as well. Masters degrees like MCA, MBA, etc. are available after UG degree in BCA.

The BCA salary details are yet to be released. According to St Francis De Sales College NIRF report 2025, 28 UG 3 year students were placed in 2025 placements with a median package of INR 1.5 LPA.

Speaking of India - with real skills & an impressive resume you can get into entry-level IT roles of - Software Developers, Cloud Architects, Data Scientists, DevOps Engineers, AI/ML professionals, Full-Stack Developers, System Analysts. Also try to pick & excel a niche if you want to penetrate the IT job market in India.

There is alot of scope for BCA (H) degree holders in public and private sectors. However, as per trends, students with BCA + MCA degree get better opportunities. SVIMS BCA graduates are placed in top companies like Goorej. Some of the popular BCA recruiting sectors are:
