Selection is based on class 12th board's percentage. I scored 64% marks. The cut off for the course was 62% marks in 2011. I opted for this college because, it is an okay college with low fees and it being a government college, so the degree is also valuable. Hi Virat,
You have to start checking university websites for the entry requirements and prepare accordingly. But by the time you prepare and apply, it will mean another wasted year so think wisely if you would like to waste 2 precious years. Universities abroad won't be impressed. Candidates who wish to pursue BCA course must fulfill the below mentioned eligibility criteria.
Pass in 10+2 examination in any stream from a recognized board of education.
English as a subject of study.
A minimum aggregate score of 45% at 10+2 level.
Some colleges prefer students from Science stream or those who have studied Mathematics and Computer Science at 10+2 level.
