Generally in SSC, and banking exam they ask general studies and general knowledge in which major part is history and social science things so if you want to know which course is good for these exams then B.A. is good option for you.

No Degree is bad, of course, BCA is good but the question is if it is good for you or not?
If you have passed 12th class with commerce background and have math or IP as one of your subject then you should go for BCA only if you are interested in computer science degree.
If you have passed 12th with PCM you should opt for B.tech in computer science.
In BCA you'll learn about the applications of Computer Science and some knowledge about developing software for particular purpose whereas in B.tech you'll have core knowledge about developing softwares.

You can go for paramedical courses like Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Ayurveda, etc.
Other than science stream, you can have a career in Journalism, Film and TV production, Management, Hotel Management, Fine Arts, Performing Arts, Physical Education, Yoga, etc too.
There are many reputed universities like Lovely Professional University, Chitkara University, Rayat Bahara University, etc are offering a wide variety of courses to choose from.

Just on the basis of BCA you can get jobs but they wont be of good salary package or job profiles. I am happy that you are thinking of doing some thing more after BCA.
