Dear Rashi,I would suggest you against dropping for a year. Dropping for a year is no surety that next year you will qualify JEE. In case you are interested in B.Tech, it would be better if your try for some good private universities. Many reputed private universities are offering B.Tech degree with various specializations. They have their different criteria for admissions. Some offer admission on basis of JEE scores, some offer admission on basis of their own tests, some offer admission on the basis of both and some offer admission basis of marks in class 12th. Some of the universities also offer scholarships on basis of your performance in class 12th or JEE/ their test or even during the course. You can check the details of any of the reputed universities like Amity, Lovely, Sharda, etc. All these universities have wonderful infrastructure and world-class facilities to offer to students apart from good placements that they offer. Here, I will suggest two courses for you:
1. MCA
Master of Computer Applications. This is the best course according to my opinion after completing BCA course. This is because MCA course contains topics which are continued from courses in BCA. That means MCA is a continuation after BCA. You can cover most of the topics of BCA in MCA. This makes studying your subjects easier.
2. MSCS
Master of Science in Computer Science
This course also contains some portions of subjects covered in BCA. But here you will have to dig deep into various portions. That means here you will have in-depth knowledge about computers. This course is mostly trusted in India as a foreign course. It's one's decision what they prefer. After completing BCA course, you will be able to choose between any of these two courses. Study well and get top marks in BCA since admissions in foreign universities are not easier and one have to work very hard to get top scores inorder to achieve it. Wishing you Good luck.
