SFS College, Nagpur is a decent college! It is not one of the best for BCA. But it is a decent college. You can do BCA from here if you don't want to move to other cities like Noida, Ghaziabad, Delhi etc.
They have a good faculty team and the overall rating of the college is good!

Dear,
The percentage of marks varies from Institute to Institute. If you get 50% or more in +2 Science, you can apply for BCA in most of the Institutes provided other eligibility criteria is fulfilled. But, some Institutes keep 60% in +2 board exam, as minimum eligibility criteria. Best wishes.

To be a software engineer, you have to learn the programming languages, so go for B.Tech in computer Science stream and study hard. Regards

Hello Avni,
Following is the eligibility criteria for admission in BCA:
Pass in 10+2 examination in any stream from a recognised board of education. English as a subject of study. A minimum aggregate score of 45% at 10+2 level. Some colleges prefer students from Science stream or those who have studied Mathematics and Computer Science at 10+2 level.

Yes, you can easily get admission in BCA. BCA includes computer subjects and mathematics etc. You can go for that.

Science, Arts, Commerce students, anyone can do BCA. But you should have computer science or maths in class 12th. Many institutes especially private ones can offer admission without maths or computer science in 10+2, but not all. No, Maths is not compulsory for BCA. You can do BCA without maths.
