Admission in Dr. D.Y. Patil College of Applied Arts and Crafts Akurdi for BFA is not so much difficult if you have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidates) and English as a passing subject and having good marks in a MAH AAC CET (Maharashtra Applied Arts and Crafts Common Entrance Test) or any other equivalent competitive examination.

The entrance score is just one of the eligibility criteria and you must also have a valid 12th standard score which is a basic criterion for admission. The candidate must also have a strong portfolio showcasing their artistic skills and creative potential. The students must have passed the 12th standard from a recognised board in any stream. The students required to provide a valid UCEED score in order to apply for the course. Alternatively, the school also conducts its own design aptitude test (Chitkara University Design and Aptitude Test).
