Hi, Yes, Thomas Cook Centre of Learning, Mumbai is one of the good institutes to pursue courses in travel and tourism. Else, you can opt for top institutes like Indian Institute of Tourism & Travel Management-Gwalior, Indian Institute of Hospitality and Management-Thane or Christ University-Bangalore.

You can pursue a post-graduate diploma in travel and tourism management, which is of 1 year and includes 3 months of internship. The admissions process would be going on at the moment at the reputed institutions. To get selected for this course, you will have to clear an entrance test which will be then followed by a personal interview. After these stages are cleared out, you will be selected for the course. You can pursue this course in these three towns namely Mumbai, Pune and Delhi. 10+2 is the most basic qualification. However, make an informed choice as to what course you want to do. Like a 6-month foundation course or 1-2 years Diploma or a proper Bachelors of 3 years. It is indeed a promising field with lots of opportunities.

You can take up a wide range of courses like certificate courses, advance Diploma, graduate and Masters degree. In order that you stand out, it is imperative to have a good internship alongside studies plus work experience of few years. This will give you a strong foothold.

Hi,
It is very happy to see that people are interested in travel and tourism sector. Any stream candidate can get into tourism trade, there is no specific stream for tourism studies and it depends on the college if they ask for entrance exams for admissions. Most of the colleges do not need any entrance exam for UG course.
