Before talking about the placements, let us know a bit about the branch as it is not a popular choice in engineering. Established in 2001, the relatively new Department of Biological Sciences and Bioengineering (BSBE) strives to implement a multidisciplinary research and teaching program in modern biology and bioengineering. The department allows undergraduate (B.Tech) and postgraduate programs (M.Tech and Ph.D.). The branch is new whereas there are branches which are about 100 years old.
