I am unable to understand your question. Do you want to do a distance course or you are trying to search for a college which is far away from your city?

There are a plethora of institutes offering a Ph.D. degree in India and most of them offer Ph.D with Biology as a specialization too. Some of the reputed colleges offering the specialization are:
IIT Kanpur
IIT Gandhinagar
BITS Pilani
Banasthali Vidyapeeth
Bangalore University
Narsee Moonjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai. Indian Association for Cultivation of Science
Agharkar Research Institute
Doing a Ph.D in Biology helps students in getting the deeper knowledge of the micro-organisms, their genes, and the surrounding environment.
