- The MAT 2026 May session registrations have started for admission to the MBA course. For the PBT mode, the registration deadline is May 25, 2026, with the exam scheduled for May 31, 2026. For the CBT mode, the last date to register is Jun 8, 2026, for the exam taking place on Jun 14, 2026.
- The CAT 2026 registration is expected to start in the Aug, 2026 for admission to the MBA course.
- The MAH MBA CET 2026 session 1 exam is now over for admission to the MBA/MMS course. The session 2 exam will take place on May 9, 2026.
- The MHT CET 2026 application portal for session 2 is closed for admission to the BE/BTech and Integrated BTech courses. The session 2 exams will be conducted from May 12 to May 15, 2026, and then from May 18 to May 21, 2026.
- The MAH MCA CET 2026 exam was concluded for the admission to the MCA course. The results for the same are expected to be released in May 2026.
- The CMAT 2026 result has been declared for admission to the MBA/PGDM/MMS courses. Students can download their scorecards by logging into the official website.
- The ATMA 2026 May session exam has concluded for admission to the MBA/PGDM/MMS programmes. The results will be announced on May 9, 2026.
- The GATE COAP 2026 registration link is active for admission to ME/MTech programmes. The GATE COAP 2026 round 1 window to view offers and make a decision will be opened on May 11, 2026 (10 AM).

Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon formerly known as North Maharashtra University was established in 1990. The University is recognised by the UGC and accredited with an 'A' Grade by the NAAC. NMU has been ranked 145 in the Southern Asia category by QS World University Rankings 2023 and also, ranked 50 in the overall category by The Week 2024.
NMU has over 220 affiliated colleges and 4 universities. Out of these, 1 college is recognised as a 'College of Excellence', 4 colleges have been identified as colleges with 'Potential for Excellence' and 5 colleges have been granted autonomous status by the University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi Board, and Government of Maharashtra.
North Maharashtra University has more than 50 departments that collectively offer more than 200 courses at UG, PG, and doctoral levels. All these courses are UGC-approved and are offered across various fields, including Arts, Management, Education, Science, Computer Applications, Engineering, Commerce and Agriculture. North Maharashtra University offers admission to students based on entrance test scores and the merit of their academic performance. The selection criteria differ from one course to another. Admission to NMU Jalgaon begins with an online application. For admission to its BTech and MTech programmes, the university accepts JEE Main and MHT CET scores, respectively.
