Degrees awarded by deemed Universitirs are valid for all Government & Private jobs and Higher studies in India or abroad. These institutions degree are far superior to majority of central or state governments Universities. BITS Pilani is the most recognized and accepted Institute in International market after legacy IITs.

Hi Garima,
Since, BITS Pilani is conducting an entrance exam called BITSAT, the admissions are based on the BITSAT score only. So, if you want to take B.Tech, you must have to appear for the exam and score 300+.
You cannot apply after your results and also, the applications for undergraduate B.Tech courses have been closed.

Excluding BITS, colleges that accept BITSAT score are NIIT Neemrana and Tolani Maritime University.

As a BITSian, I can easily say that all three branches are equally good at Pilani campus. However, if you are evaluating on criteria of and opportunities, and placement records then following are my recommendations in order of precedence: CS, Electronics and Mechanical.

Yes, it is worth to study at BITS, Pilani because it is an international university and it is recognized world-wide. You can get better placements and a lot of knowledge with a great exposure.
NITs are better in terms of fee and education but not better than BITS. NIT is a government college.
