Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani BE admission is based on valid BITSAT scores. Selection is based entirely on the candidate's past academic record, specialisation preference, availability of seats and score in BITSAT. Candidates, who have passed Class 12 in 2022 are only eligible to appear in 2023 and are eligible to apply for the BITS Pilani BE course. Apart from the BITSAT scores, students are also required to fulfil the minimum eligibility requirements.

The BITS Pilani scholarship is offered on merit basis where, candidates are offered a tuition fee waiver depending on the score obtained in the BITSAT entrance examination. The scholarships are provided to students who score over 70% of the total exam score.
