BITS Pilani has a strict fee refund policy: no refunds are available after payment, and transaction fees are not refundable. Non-admitted candidates can request a fee refund by providing their bank account information. The BITSAT counselling fee is also non-refundable. Additionally, BITS Pilani offers merit-based tuition fee waivers: the top 4% of students receive an 80% waiver, the next 10% get a 50% waiver, the following 20% receive a 30% waiver, and the remaining students are granted a 15% waiver on tuition fees.

This is a practical program aimed at the working professional, and the workload demands that candidates will be expected to meet are significant.
