Hi Rashmeet,
The entrance exam for BMM in St Xavier includes General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Data Interpretation, Economics, English Language & Comprehension Skills, Logical Reasoning and Critical Analysis & Creative Thinking. You can either refer to the entrance exam books available in the market or can go for coaching institute that prepares you for general aptitude tests.

Hi Avi,
The admission in Bachelor of mass media or Bachelor of journalism and mass communication is determined on the basis of your results in the entrance test, which is basically an aptitude test. A minimum of 50% in aggregate is required in 10+2 from a recognized board of education, to be eligible to apply for the entrance test. Hi Avi,
You need to clear your 10+2 from a recognised board of education and must have secured minimum 50% marks in order to be eligible for admission to St. Xavier college. The admission process comprises of a written aptitude test followed by an interview. The written test includes questions on General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Data Interpretation, Economics, English Language & Comprehension Skills, Logical Reasoning and Critical Analysis & Creative Thinking.

I did not do BMM but I stayed in Wilson College girl's hostel and we had a good number of people who were doing that course. They loved it in terms of the faculty, the industrial visits (IVs), the exposure that a media student should be getting, and definitely the classroom culture and crowd. Based on their experience, I would definitely suggest you to go ahead with this choice.
