It is a 4.5 years (4 years + 6 month internship) full time programme which consists of theory as well as practical courses of Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Psychology, Sociology, Biomechanics, Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Electrotherapy, Exercise Therapy, General Medicine, General Surgery, Orthopedics & Traumatology, Orthopedics and Sports Physiotherapy, Cardio Respiratory & General Physiotherapy, Supervised Rotatory Clinical Training, Neurology & Neurosurgery, Community Medicine, Neuro Physiotherapy, Community Based Rehabilitation, Supervised Rotatory Clinical Training etc. There shall be six months of Internship after the final year examination for candidates declared to have passed the examination in all the subjects. The Internship should be rotatory and cover clinical branches concerned with Physiotherapy such as Orthopaedics, Cardiothoracic including ICU, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Paediatrics, General Medicine, General Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology both inpatient and outpatient services.
