BYU charges a non-refundable application fee of around USD 50 (INR 4.2 K), from international students, as part of its application process.

The payment of the said fee is mandatory, unless you're granted a fee waiver by the institute, & no applications can be processed without the payment of the mentioned fee.

Despite its additional 25% concession on applicants that are not part of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints, BYU can be considered relatively cheaper than the other universities in the US.

The average cost of studying at the institute is about USD 6,688 (INR 5.6 L), which is much lower than the national average of USD 47,890 (INR 40.3 L).

Along with the application fee, the applicants are also required to submit a few documents. These are:

  • Letters of recommendation
  • Resume
  • Standardized test scores (if applicable)
  • Any other document (as required by the course)
