According to the 'The Guardian rankings' the university rankings 2025, the rankings of Brunel University London has slightly improved as compared to the past years. The university is currently (2025) ranking at #120, which was ranked at #121 in 2024, and 116 in 2023. The university also ranked well under categories such as Chemical Engineering; Politics; Mechanical Engineering; Electronics and Electrical Engineering; and more. Most of the rankings of categories including Chemical Engineering, Politics have improved compared to previous year.

As per the 'THE Complete rankings' 2025, the Brunel University London ranked #80 which shows an improvement as compared to the past rankings over the year. The university is also top-ranked in categories such as Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering; Art and Design; Chemical Engineering; Mechanical Engineering; and more. Some of category rankings including Biological Science; Chemical Engineering; Computational and Media Studies; Computer Science; and more have shown improvement compared to previous year.
