btech Eligibility

City Engineering College is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University.

All interested candidates are required to fill out the application form available at the website of  City Engineering College.

Some of the major exams accepted by the institution for admissions include GATE, KCET, and COMEDK UGET, etc. depending on the course.

The interested candidate should have scored at least 45% marks in the 10+2 examination.

The interested candidate should have scored at least 45% marks and 40% for SC/ST/OBC students of Karnataka only in the 10+2 examination.

 Admissions to all the engineering programs offered at the college is only through the following 3 ways -

• Common Entrance Test (CET) and Selection Process
• COMEDK and Selection Process
• Management Admission Process

Candidates who are Class 12 pass with at least 45% aggregate from a recognised board are eligible for BTech at KL University Vijayawada. The students must also hold the Class 12 mark sheet during application form filling and at the time of admission for verification purposes.

Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination, Kerala, or examinations recognised as equivalent thereto, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry / Computer Science/ Biotechnology/ Biology as one of the optional subjects with atleast mentioned marks.

Eligibility criteria for B.E./B.Tech offered at Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli are as follows:

Qualifying Examination: Passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics and any one of Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science with aggregate marks of minimum 50% (45% in case of students belonging to reserved category).
Entrance Test: The major intake to the college is through MHT CET or JEE Main for non-Maharashtra candidates.
Age Limit: The age for candidates should be at least 17 years old as of the admission year.

The eligibility criteria for admission in B.E./B.Tech programmes in Kunwar Satyavira College of Engineering and Management is mentioned as below:

Educational Qualification: Passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics and any one of the following: Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science with aggregate of at least 45% marks (40% in case of students belonging to reserved category).
UPSEE Score (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination) scores are considered for admission. Admission through the management quota is also likely.
Lower Age Limit: The student applying should be 17 years old at least on the date of admission.

Eligibility Criteria for B.E/B.Tech
Eligible candidates for B.E/B.Tech at Rao Bahadur Y Mahabaleswarappa Engineering College (RYMEC) are as follows:

Qualification : Candidate must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics and third subject either Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science.
Minimum Marks: Minimum aggregate of 45% marks in Physics, Mathematics and the third subject (40% for reserved category students).
Entrance Exam: Karnataka Common Entrance Test, KCET is the major entrance examination for entry. COMEDK UGET has to be taken for management quota seats.
Age Bar: Candidates should be 17 years old or more at the time of admission.
