For admission to the B.Tech programme at BFIT Dehradun candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics Mathematics and Chemistry/Biology conducted by a recognised University /Board. Candidate must have passed the qualifying examination securing a minimum of 50%marks for general category candidates and 45% for SC/ ST/OC/ PH category candidates. The major criterion for admission is through JEE Main, or directly through merit, according to the students' choice. For the selected applicants, the BFIT also administers both, a personal interview and a counseling session. The following is the rigorous set of criteria students applying for admission to B.Tech programmes

The following mentioned are the eligibility criteria for admission into the B.Tech programme for Accurate Group of Institutions.

1. For Regular B.Tech Admission:

Regular B.Tech applicants must be completed intermediate (10+2) or equivalent from recognised boards such as U.P. Board along with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects and any of the optional subjects Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science or Bio-Technology.

2. For Lateral Entry (B.Tech):

Candidates must have done a 3-year Diploma in engineering with 50% marks neccessarily or any 3 year B.Sc. Mathematics degree with 50% marks in aggregate.

These requirements are uniform for most of the B.Tech programmes in the institution.

There are other minimum requirements that applicants vying to undertake the B.Tech programme at the Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering.Educational Qualification: Minimum aggregate of 50% marks in 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or its equivalent from any recognised Institution/ Board.Entrance Exam: Qualified scores in entrance exams such as Andhra Pradesh EAMCET or other entrance tests of others universities will be needed to enter the institutes.Age Limit-Should be in accordance with the eligibility criteria of the respective colleges or examination authorities.Such requirements guarantee that the students will be well-equipped for the engineering curriculum.

The candidates planning to join B.Tech course in Amity University Bengaluru should pass 10+2 examination with minimum 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Mathematics, and optional subjects – Chemistry/Biotechnology/Computer Science. Also, exams accepted are JEE Main and Amity Joint Entrance Test ( JET ) along with any other entrance test that has been deemed valid. The final examination candidates are also welcome to apply so long as they achieved satisfactory scores by the time they sit their end-of-term exams. it is important to refer to the university's current guidelines or the guidelines of the specific programme in question in case of any changes.

The B.Tech. of Shri Siddhi Vinayak Group of Institutions has the following eligibility criteria: The candidates should have passed their 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) with minimum 45% marks in aggregate (40% for SC/ST candidates). Performance in JEE Main and UPSEE is taken into account. Additional requirements include: they should have secured minimum 50% marks in Mathematics and Physics separately, additionally qualified in JEE Main and JEE Advanced for general category candidates should have rank between 150001-200000 and SC/ST candidates 200001-250000. Lateral entry to 2nd year needs only 3-year Diploma in engineering with minimum percentage of 60%. Fees: INR 70,000-80,000/year.

Admissions under Convener Quota (70% of intake in each branch): Candidate must have passed the Intermediate examination from a recognised board with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as main subjects. Admissions are granted on the basis of the rank in AP-EAMCET provided the candidates should satisfy local/non-local status requirement laid down by the Andhra Pradesh Educational institutions.

Admissions under Category 'B' (30% of intake in each branch): The seats will be filled either on the basis of rank obtained in AP-EAMCET with not less than 50% in aggregate or in group subjects (Maths, Physics and Chemistry) in 10+2.
