MBA in marketing or finance will help you and if you are good in your engineering I suggest you to get some work experience then go for MBA.

Yes, you should appear for CAT exam and clear it too with a good score like not less than 98 or 99 to get into an IIM.

If you are getting the best B-Schools abroad like Harvard, then it's really great but in India, any IIM is best to study from.

You must get above 95% for any IIM and for the Kolkata try getting at least 98-99. Scholarship gives leverage in fees only not the eligibility criteria.
