To pursue MBA, one needs to be a graduate. If you are not a graduate then I would advise you to first complete your graduation & then explore MBA. In case you are a graduate with more than 50% marks at graduation level & with more than 3+ years work experience then you can explore distance/executive MBA in operations/ HR/SCM.

You can go for MBA. No problem with that. Since your percentage is very low you can't aim for top niche colleges, you have to settle down in a mediocre college. You first appear for CAT, SNAP or CMAT and look at your score then find out on the basis of percentile which college you can get.

You have too many choices. You can go for GATE, IES and other government job technical exams. You also have an option for M.Tech as well. If you go for MBA then you will not take much advantage of BE mechanical.

You could begin with brushing up your GK and news like Oscars, Noble Prizes, different M&As and Takeover, etc. Also, start with current affairs and in detail and rest is the same. The main scoring here can be done in GK and that would create an edge for you. Focus on GK and current affairs. Rest verbal quants and DI/RI can be focused upon.

See, the placements of this college is not so good as last year, only 68% placements are there and college claims for 96% placements this college is little bit more attentive on ads rather than improving the quality, and hiring new and efficient teachers.
