Exams like MAT and CAT are for admission in management school. There are several institutes, which accept both. CAT is difficult as compared to MAT. MAT is the easier version. Course wise, there is no difference in the syllabus of two, only the level of questions are different. Questions in CAT are much difficult from those of MAT. CAT is conducted once every year and MAT is conducted four times in a year.

If you are interested in marketing and advertising, then you can go for MBA programme in marketing or any equivalent degree or Diploma in marketing to enhance your skill of marketing and please pursue this as your career if you are really interested in this as it is the only thing which will make you excel in your career. A full time course will be better. If you are not able to pursue it, then I would suggest UPES for distance MBA. They have good courses and are related to your field.
