Bharathiar University is a public university. It was established by the government in 1982. It is placed in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The university is UGC-recognised and NAAC Grade-A++. Bharathiar University campus is spread around 780 acres of land, Bharathiar University campus consists of academic and administrative buildings. Also, there are separate hostels for boys and girls. Bharathiar University offers a three-year BCom programme at the UG level. The admission to the programme is based on merit in Class 12. To be eligible to pursue BCom at Bharathiar University, a candidate must have passed Class 12 with a minimum aggregate score of 50%.
