Depends, if you go to Hyderabad or Mumbai, it is good. From the rest of the places, it is less renowned.

CAT is accepted at most places. Also depending on where you want to do MBA, you can give exams like XAT, CMAT, MAT, NMAT, SNAP, etc. Placements after MBA depends more on the college you choose to do MBA from.
