There is not much difference between the two in terms of difficulty level. CMAT is a bit easier than MAT as the number of questions needs to be answered in the CMAT is less than the number of questions that need to be answered in MAT. In CMAT, 100 questions need to be answered, 200 questions in CMAT.
Also, more time will be given for solving questions in CMAT than MAT. This gives CMAT ample edge over MAT in difficulty level. There is no significant difference in the nature of questions asked in MAT and CMAT. Even though students will be tested in 4 sections in CMAT and 5 sections in MAT.

If you are looking for HR than NMIMS is better option than JBIMS. JBIMS is much known for finance.

You will need atleast 2 years of work experience to get into a top or reputed university for MBA. Try to get a job in finance sector since you are from that background. There is no particular job that you have to do but see that is relevant to your background and what you want to do.
