The course is offered as a specialisation in MBA/PGD programmes. The study and application of rural management are both concerned with the efficient administration and growth of rural communities and places.

MBA programme has been created taking into account the requirements of the Media & Communication industry, in terms of knowledge, skills and attitude, at the entry level as well as during the initial progression (within agencies or a media houses). The tuition fees for the MBA course at Symbiosis Institute of International Business (SIBM) range from INR 12.7 Lacs to INR 18.7 lakh. The tuition fees vary according to the specialisation selected by the students in the SIBM institute. On the other hand, tuition fees for the MBA course at SIMC Pune is INR 13 lakh. Hence, the starting range of tuition fees for SIBM Pune is similar to the tuition fees for SIMC Pune. However, apart from the tuition fees candidates can compare both of these institutes on other parameters too, such as placement packages, availability of seats, specialisations offered by the institutes, etc.

Both institutes SIIB Pune and SIMC Pune are affiliated with Symbiosis International University. The SIMC Pune offers an MBA programme in Communication Management, whereas the SIIB Pune offers MBA courses in three specialisations i.e., Agri-Business Management, International Business, and Energy & Environment. Both institutes offer very different specialisations. Hence, it is hard to compare which one is best. Candidates can choose the institute according to their interests and career goals.
