Aspirants must pass BTech or BE or BArch (with Mathematics as one of the subjects in Class 12) or four-year BSc Engineering degree (with Mathematics as one of the subjects), or four-year BSc degree (with Mathematics as one of the subjects), or MSc (with Mathematics as one of the subjects in the UG programme), or Master of Arts in Economics (with Mathematics as one of the subjects in the UG programme) with at least 60% aggregate (50% aggregate for SC/ ST) or a CPI of 6.0 (5.0 for SC/ ST) on a scale of 10 from any AICTE recognised institute/ university, IITs, NITs, and IIITs to apply for IIT Kanpur MBA course.

The Guwahati University MBA placement details will be updated here as soon as released. The University has released the overall placement data for PG (2-year) courses. Out of 1,951 PG (2-year) graduates 421 were placed during the 2023 drive. Earlier, 398 out of 1,971 students were placed during 2022 placements. The fundamental difference between the two courses is that an MBA is a degree course and a PGDM is a diploma course. Being postgraduate courses, both MBA and PGDM require students to have completed their graduation in any stream with at least 50 percent and 45 percent marks respectively.
