You don't need to give any test for this course. You just need to fill application form which is currently available on SIMSREE website. Shortlisted students have to go through the GD-PI process. Experience in related field is compulsory and they do shortlist based on your profile.

MBA is the best if done from the reputed B-schools. The placement opportunities in top B-Schools like IIMs, DMS-IITs, FMS-DU, XLRI, SPJIM, MDI, IIFT, etc. are above 100% and most of the students are having more than two offerings. While the placement opportunities in MCA are very less in comparison to MBA/PGDM courses.

It depends on whether you had appeared for the Entrance Exam or not.
If you had not appeared then definitely it will be the best option, go for it.
If you had appeared then try to find other options according to your CAT/ MAT score.

The minimum CAT percentile requirements along with sectional cutoff for IIM-A are given below for reference only.
1. PVRC : 70
2. PDILR : 70
3. PQA : 70
4. Over all CAT percentile : 80
For admission, your CAT percentile should be above 97. The academic performance is also an important factor and your 12th marks can be create some problems. However, the performance in What, PI and Entrance score can bridge this gap.
