Education Qualifications: Scoring marks in NEET 2020 as per cut-off and pursuing class 12th with Biology, Chemistry, and English is necessary in order to secure admission in MBBS and BDS courses offered by medical colleges in Odisha. Minimum marks required are as follows:
50% for general or unreserved category students
40% for SC, CT and other reserved category students
Nativity/ Domicile Holders: Candidates must be native permanent residents of Odisha or must possess the domicile of Odisha. Candidates who are wards of Odisha State Government or Government of India employees are also eligible to apply for MBBS and BDS courses in Odisha on the basis of state quota. Nationality: Only Indian citizens, OCIs, NRIs, and PIOs are eligible for admission in Odisha medical colleges. Age: All candidates between 17 (on or before December 31, 2020) and 25 years of age (on or before May 7, 2020) can apply for Odisha MBBS and BDS admissions. Selection & Admission Procedure
At the very first, candidates need to register on the website and fill the application form. After this, the choice filling and choice locking process will be started. Candidates have to fill the choices for college in which they are looking for admission. The document will also verify at this stage. The candidate will receive a provisional admission letter from the OJEE cell along with acknowledgment of submitted documents. Candidates will be provisionally admitted on submitting the prescribed admission fee. The seats will be allotted on the basis of candidates' rank and filled choices. After the final counseling, OJEE will send the admitted candidates list along with the admission fees to the concerned institution. Candidates should report to the allotted college for final admission within the prescribed time. Good luck.
