CA is a prestigious and highly paid professional course one can choose for his or her career. So yes, you can choose CA even if you have completed your 12th from science.

Plain B.com is not a a difficult task, but if you go for B.com in finance and accountancy - that will be a perk for you as everything you study there you will come across the same in your CA course too and therefore your efforts will be lessened, Many students doing CA opt for Bachelor's in Accountancy and Finance (BAF). Also, BAF is more relevant to the field.

Only a distance learning course wouldn't be of much help, you should have opted for a full time degree course. A PGDM is equivalent to an MBA, you can look for job opportunities and those will depend upon what other qualifications you have.
