A majority of students take up CA studies as well as complete their B.Com. The B.Com is a graduation degree granted by the University whereas the CA is self-study based (or you may take external help through prep classes) and you can complete it at your own pace. Yes, you are eligible for CA on the basis of 12th but complete your graduation and then go for CA.

If you are an average student, I would advice you not to explore CA as a course. Rather, you can explore a course keeping in mind your interest areas. The chances of professional success are higher in doing what one likes and enjoys.

Both are professional courses with a separate career path. Keeping in mind your interest areas and skill sets you can decide what you intend to pursue. CA is more tough compared to CS. The range of job opportunities are much larger with a CA qualification compared to a CS qualification.

This would depend on your interest areas. CA is an excellent professional qualifications & one can pursue it along with B.Com. You need to clear the CA foundation open test to seek admission into CA course.

CA is a professional course wherein the result is around 8 to 10% which means only 8 to 10% of candidates who appear for CA actually clear the exam. Thus, CA is much more difficult compared to MBA.
