Both the courses have their own value in market, so you can judge of any one course. You should think deeply within yourself in which part of commerce you like more. If you like accounts, then you should go with CA (chartered Accountancy), and if you like to pursue law, then go with CS (company secretary). It totally depends upon your interest. As CA is tough, most of CA aspirants do graduation to cover their career risk in case they are unable to clear CA. It is not necessary to do graduation degree after CA for job or career growth. Most the universities accept CA for higher studies such as MBA.

Dear Shreya,
I personally believe that it is not everybody's cup of tea to reach upto the final of CA certification. Now, since you have reached upto there, it is advisable that you better complete the certification. CA is a statutory designation and every business unit requires a professional CA who certifies the authenticity of it's annual accounts. As a CA you can also start your own private practice. This feature is not available in all the professions. You can also run your own coaching for CA after your completion of certification. A CA can work as an auditor, an accountant, an economist, can be a teacher, can be an operations manager, a statistician or may become credit policy maker of any financial organisation.

There is no much difference between CA (ICAI) and CMA (ICMAI). While pursuing CA, articleship of 3 years is compulsory. CMA offers jobs to gain work experience just after its level-2 exams I.e. CMA-Inter. However, any one can qualify all levels of CMA with minimum gap of one year.
