Hi Suraj,
According to most of the CAs, you should give both groups. You have lot of advantages by opting such an option. In order to pass IPCC you should get 350 marks out of 700; 200 from first group and 150 from second group. If you are giving both groups you have an option of carry forward so that if you get 240 marks in first group and 110 in second group then that extra 40 marks from first group will carried to your second group marks and in the end you will clear IPCC.

Hi Aashay,
CA has 3 stages:
1. CPT
2. IPCC
3. FINAL
After completing your class 12th register yourself with ICAI. CPT is a 6 month program. Exams are held twice in a year- June and December. IPCC is the second stage where you have 7 papers. It is a 9 month program. After completing IPCC you have to attend orientation and ITT classes. Complete 3 years of article ship. Before completing 1 year of article ship you have to complete GMCS. Give FINAL exams.
In order to clear CPT work out all the problems in the study material and modules that ICAI provides. Solve all the questions in the scanner. Attend mock tests.

Hi John,
For becoming a CA, age doesn't matter. If you have strong will to become a CA, you surely can manage even if you are from science stream. But before doing CA, I think you should attend accounts classes in order to make your base strong.

Hi Suriti,
With this registration, you can give next 4 CPT exams. You do have such an option. You can skip the one in June and give the exams in November.

See most companies specify they don't want gaps in education more than two years. You can explain your issue if you appear for interview since mostly in verification round.everything is checked. so I think while searching u make sure that you are eligible.

No you cannot join SIBM without writing SNAP. Even for management quota it is mandatory to write SNAP exam. You can try next year though
